The symbol on the tablet on His Holiness’ mandyas, what is it? If somone could give the translation and a larger image of it, that would be greatly appreciated as well…
 
Golgofskij Krest

This image is of the Golgofa Cross. It images cross on mountain (Golgolf) usually marked with letters in Slavonic МЛРБ (Место Лобное рай бысть) Skull place is become paradise. Skull bone of Adam Firstman is under golgofa. There are shown the instruments of Christ’s torture the stick with sponge and the spear. On either side is written IC XC НИКА - which means Christ conqures. This Golgofa Cross is symbol of all skhima monks as above shown on their clothing. This is ikon of same by Ushakov:
