If Mass has not yet begun when the priest says “Good morning” and he has officially concluded the Mass before he says “Have a nice day,” then why should there be any problem? Granted, it would be better to save personal remarks for the meeting-and-greeting of parishioners outside the church; but, according to your report, your priest is not inserting these personal remarks into the Mass itself.
