Can this be forgiven?

It’s been several years since I got baptized in a church of Christ. shortly after that I was raped by the guy I was dating. Instead of dealing with it in the right way i just stopped caring and let anyone since then that said they were gonna stay with me have their way. I now realize what I did and would like to ask forgiveness but Im afraid that I cannot be forgiven. I’m in the process now of converting to Catholicism so that I may go to confession and repent. I was just wondering if i could be forgiven?
 
Dear friend,

So long as you are repentant, there is no sin that the Lord will not forgive. All the suffering He endured in His Passion demonstrates how much He loves you and me. He is so good, that no one can possibly out-sin his love.
