The Church teaches that the Real Presence remains in the Eucharistic species as long as the “accidents” remain as they are. So what would happen if we put it (The Lord) in a freezer?
To put the Blessed Sacrament in the freezer would sustain the accidents for a longer period of time than otherwise. So the real presence would remain longer. However, without the Church’s permission, to do so would be an act of sacrilege against the Blessed Sacrament. Further, such is not a permission the Church would be likely to give.
