Can we prove the Natural Law without the use of Scripture?

Is it possible to prove that there is such a thing as the Natural Law without appealing to Sacred Tradion and Sacred Scripture? If so How? Thanks and God bless.

I would think the fact that many religions have a form of the golden rule would be proof that there is a natural law.

Prove is a strong word. But evidence can indeed be raised for the natural law. Mostly, this would be done through a comparing and contrasting history’s major religions and philosophies. CS Lewis does a masterful job of this as an appendix to one of his books, the Abolition of Man.
 
The *whole idea *of Natural Law is that it is something that is obvious without appealing to Scripture. God has written basic morality into our bodies, our psyches and in observable nature. Divine Revelation, in part, merely reinforces these observable facts.

I suggest you read Romans 1:16–2:16, and Wisdom 13:1-9.

Isn’t that what the Deists did, as well as Locke and Voltaire and the other philosophes?
