Can we replace a godparent?

The Godfather of my child (who is 8 years old now) revealed a few months ago that he is homosexual and is now engaged to another man. The mother of the child and myself are quite taken back by this. Is there a process to get a “Godfather annulment”? Please assist and thank you!
