I will be getting married in the Catholic church in less than a month. My fiancé and I have not been intimate and decided to save this special time for marriage. We started to practice NFP about 4 months ago, and today I looked at my NFP charts for the past months and noticed that I will be fertile the night of our wedding and a few days after that.
We are definitely open to life and want numerous children, but decided to postpone having children because we are at the start of building our house.
**My question is: If we were to abstain the night of our wedding, would this be going against church teaching? **
