I was in my office on the speaker phone for a teleconference. The door of the office was shut to avoid the noise from the hallways. During the conversation someone outside rang a little bell three times. As soon as I heard it I just started sliding down from my chair and going down to my knees! 😃

You have it down where it’s a reflex. I’ll get there someday and then I can focus entirely on the Sacrifice of the Mass.

I think that was great. I think that God was with you at that very moment when you heard the bells. You felt it in your heart and you naturally responded.
I would consider that a sign that God is with you always. Luci

You know what they say: Every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings!:angel1:

We have an ice cream truck that goes by every evening during the warm seasons…they have already started…and they ring their bells 3…yes…3 times as they go by. It always catches my attention.😃

Hey girl! You are so right about an angel getting their wings when you hear a bell ring.
Cristiano heard three rings so three angels got their wings. Luci

I can’t help but ask this question–do you also feel an urge to genuflect before entering the row of seats at your local movie theatre? I have.😃

Not unless there’s a red candle burning in my field of vision. šŸ˜›

YES!!! I usually catch myself before I hit the floor, thank God! I don’t want to look like I worship the almighty television.

Though it probably wouldn’t be out of the ordinary. You would just be expressing what everyone else already feels inside.

I think Homer Simpson one said something like: ā€œTelevision: teacher, mother, secret lover!ā€

Reminds of a story I heard about 30 years or so ago . A catholic politician was leaving parliament house and because of the large amount of catholic politicians who he use to go to church with were there. Forgot where he was , got to the main entrance doors turned and started to genuflect, but caught himself before completing it.
