Can you buy a "possibly" blessed item?

I like this rosary that I found on eBay, but the person selling it doesn’t know if his relative had it blessed before giving it to him. I understand it’s wrong to buy and sell a blessed item. Should I buy an item if I’m not sure if it has been blessed?

If you’re not sure whether or not an item is blessed, you are free to presume it is unblessed. If you choose to buy this item, you can then get it blessed so that you’ll know for certain its status.
