Can you choose to take the names of two saints for confirmation?

Could you have two names such as Gemma Galgani and Faustina Kawalska, or must you only choose one.

I asked the same question a few years ago. My wife and I were confirmed in September 2009… I took the confirmation name Michael Patrick

St. Michael has been with me since birth or one of his angels. There are to many occasions where if it were not for St. Michael and my guardian angel I would not be alive today.

St. Patrick is the patron saint of the Irish and since I am of Irish decent, I also took on that name also… And I just love the way St. Patrick could convert and entire country in 40 years to Christianity… He was a working bishop that didn’t mind getting his hands dirty milking cows, sheering sheep and mending fences while talking about Jesus.
 
I did, though it was two saints traditionally paired – Sts. Cyril and Methodius, apostles to the Slavs.
 
I’ve never heard of anyone taking two names, but if the priest is okay with it then I don’t see why you can’t.
 
You can do so only in the deep south. Names like William Robert (which, in the deep south will convert to Billy Bob), are quite common. (LOL Just kidding, of course. Well, okay, kinda kinding.) LOL
 
You don’t have to choose any name. You can simply use your baptismal name if you want.

if the saint has two names that is the name, it is not two names, it is the person’s given name. there are no rules in any case about choosing a confirmation saint, it is an option

FCEGM, could you please tell me where you read that it is acceptable to have to saint names, as in the rubric or norm read? Thanks.
