Can you explain the Good Thief?

Jesus promised the Good Thief he would be with Him in heaven that day.

But didn’t Scripture have Jesus saying to the Pharisees that He would rebuild the temple in 3 days.

But we celebrate the Resurrection 2 days after Jesus died.

These 3 statements are inconsistent.

Can you explain?
