Hey guys, few LDS friends claimed, Clement took the seat of John the beloved while he was leading the church and thus the great apostasy. Something there does not make sense.
The so-called great apostasy has absolutely no historical support. Pope St. Clement and St. John the Evangelist both died around 100 AD. So Clement could hardly have taken John’s place.
