Can you have two Catholic funeral liturgies or Masses?

Under Covid restrictions where a large gathering is not permitted. Is it possible to have a small funeral service and then, when restrictions are lifted, have another, larger one?

I tried to look this up and while it’s clear some sacraments cannot be repeated can a funeral service? If the body was cremated could the remains be returned for the second service, despite the committal?

You can certainly have a Mass of the Dead said for that person, but the actual funeral parts (blessing the coffin, etc.) would most likely not be repeated.

It is most common to have one funeral and then additional memorial Masses as the survivors determine. This is frequently the case, for example, when a person lives the majority of their life in one location but is also well-known in another. Memorial Masses do not have the body present.
