Can you help a confused returning Catholic?

Hello my name is Jason and I am a college student who left the catholic church about 3 1/2 years ago and now see that I was wrong in doing so and also relized that sometimes Gods anserw to prayers is no sometimes but now I am back on track and want to return as a faithfull and devout catholic but not sure how to do so. Should I talk to the local parish preist or is there classes i need to attend I wnt so much to start receiving Jesus In the Holy Euchrist but don’t want to do so in the state of sin so please help and please prayer for me thanks and God Bless,

All you need to do is go to Confession. If you haven’t been Confirmed, check with your parish to enroll in classes. Welcome back!
