If you are mean to someone one time and then the next day apologize and the person you were mean to says “k” and they eventually commit suicide is it in any way your fault? This has been really bugging me for a long time so someone please reply with an answer that catholic teaching approves . Thank you and God bless you.
 
Hi,

People don’t ordinarily commit suicide over one incident. Of course, I don’t know what “mean” thing was done. But I suspect that it wasn’t the reason for the suicide.
