Can you help help with my non-denominational friend's ideas?

My non-denominational friend went to a predominately Baptist college and thinks he knows about the catholic church. how do I prove that the CC was started by Jesus? how do I prove we do not worship The Virgin Mary/ Saints? how do I prove we do not buy indulgences anymore? basically he thinks the catholic church is still the way it was when the reformation began. I’ve used all of the resources I have at arms reach. How do I prove to him we are the one true church? Please help?!
