I am a faithful Jew. I have been with a Traditional Catholic for the past two and a half years. You might first ask, if he’s a traditional Catholic, than why is he with a Jew? Or the opposite, why didn’t I find myself a nice Jewish man?
However. He is not just someone that I love. He is my best friend. Through him, I have grown stronger and become more involved with life and my religion, for example. I believe I help him with the dailyness of life, the taking care of one’s home and hearth (including clothes and cleanliness), and helped him grow in other ways.
He knows more about Judiasm than I do about Catholicism. I am trying to understand him. To understand the role of a woman in a Catholic relationship so I can get a sense of what he really is expecting. I want to know what it is like for him to go to Mass. For instance, I was just reading about Communion and learned a lot that I had never known.
Are there answers to this? Am I going in the right direction? I am not in-love. This is not puppy love. We are not youngsters coming to this without having pasts. We love one another, truly and deeply.
