Can you help me with the scent of roses I just experienced?

This morning I had an experience where I smelled roses. I am Lutheran so I’m not sure what it means, but I was sleeping and all of a sudden I started to get a faint smell of roses. The scent then started getting stronger and it felt as though a petal touched my lips. The scent became so strong that it woke me up. I looked around the house for anything that could have smelled like roses but I found nothing, but that wouldn’t explain the why I felt that a petal touched my lips. I’m not sure what this means but I would like to hear some suggestions. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

It is not uncommon for those who are fond of St. Therese to be surprised by the unexplained scent of roses. Now you probably have never heard of her. But she may very well have heard of you.
