Can you help one who is lost and confused?

im 20 yrs old and i am a dental assistant. i have a daughter that is 14 months and a bf of 2 yrs. he has been there since i was 4 months pregnant. the real father i still truly care about but he is hardly involved not as much as his parents. well since i was pregnant i have asked God to send me someone that could love me and my daughter and thats when my bf came and i thought we were going to live happily after. we have gone thru problems from him doing drugs and just putting me so much in debt and him always quitting every good job he gets. i love him but i pray and pray everyday for an answer. we keep having problems so is that an answer from God? or am i suppose to be my bf angel he has a complete different background then me he was raised around drugs and failure and crimes and has never been taught to be with God. what should i do?

Hi,

Get yourself some new company. Start using your head in place of your emotions. A guy on drugs is not the kind of person you and your child need to be around. Right now, your child should be your main concern–not seeking company and romance for yourself. Check with your pastor for some suggestions as to where you might find a support system. You are in my prayers.
