I heard there was a promise like that. Is there more to it? I mean, I wouldn’t go in order to sin and get away with it or anything. These are weird times and crazy things could happen soon.

Is t true that you have to fast on Wednesdays and Saturdays to get the nenefit of the brown scapular? No big deal…just wondering, b ecause it also talks about wearing it prevents you from seeing Hell, though I heard about one whose scapular blew off before he died because he used it to keep sinning badly while thinking he could still go to heaven without repentance…

I wonder where you heard this thing. Brown scapular is not magic thing. What you heard is wrong, and the Church does not teach you this belief.

yes i also heard this about the brown scapular! but my version’s a little different where the devil can’t get your soul if you wear it and this guy who kept sinning was drowning and his scapular slipped away in the waters.

so it’s a myth? i stopped wearing mine years ago, don’t even know where it is actually
