**Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 001:021 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. KJB 1611

Is this verse talking about only prophecy

This is 2 Peter 1:20-21.

You may want to read the Revised Standard Version (Catholic Edition) of the Bible, it’s more in line with Catholic teaching and it’s easier to understand than the King James. Here are those verses in RSV-CE, see if this is clearer:
20 First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, 21 because no prophecy ever came by the impulse of man, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

It took me a while to find it. Its actually 2 Peter 1:20-21.
The NAB translation I think is better:
“Know this first of all, that there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation, for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the Holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God.”
The NAB notes say these verses are directed against the false teachers mentioned in 2 Peter 2.

I suggest you read the Book of Daniel in the Bible, not on tv to see how prophecy was delivered and interpreted – that would be a good way to illustrate your passage.
