Can you pray a Rosary or chaplet in parts throughout the day?

Can one recite a Rosary or chaplet in pieces throughout the day? I work in an office and have odd down time in 5-10 minute chunks. I would like to recite the Rosary or the Chaplet of Saint Michael then but do not have the luxury of reciting it all at one time. Can I do it in parts? Or must it be done in one sitting? And do I have to have a Rosary in my hands when saying this?

Yes; certainly! In fact, extending prayer throughout the day is a very good thing! Also, you don’t have to have the Rosary in your hands while praying. You can even use your fingers to keep tract of the prayers.
