I know you are supposed to be a meditative state when praying. Can you do it while you’re busy? I have to do a lot and I do talk to God and try to get a few minutes with me and Jesus.
Of course you can pray while you are busy. St.Paul says to pray unceasingly. I felt close to God when I was a single mother with two young girls at home 4 and 3. I realized I was so busy that I started praying while doing household chores and it made me feel so much better to be praying. God knew I was busy.
That said, I got good at getting into a meditative state while doing dishes LOL. Now they are grown and off to college and I have more time to pray in a quieter state.
Stages of life leave us in different circumstances when it comes to prayer life.
