Is this not sufficient proof that God exists, that he communicates to man and that we can communicate with him, that there are no barriers between God and man - except our refusal to be humble, to be meek like him.

Pope Francis reveals God to us all in the Phillipenes.

From the beginning he has been speaking to us, through nature, through the Israelites, and finally through his Son, and in the end times, through his Saints, those who are living witnesses that he lives yet among us.

People will always find a way to flee before the face of God.

What is the evidence exactly?

The presence of Christ in the person of the Holy Father. More people are converted when they see Christ present in us than they are by arguments. A good witness is worth a thousand or a million words. It is like drawing a picture.

We are emotional beings. It is possible that a charismatic man no matter what religion can quench the thirst of millions.

But why THIS video? Was this a particularly acute display of Christ working through us or of people being converted by the Pope’s words?

I watched the whole thing expecting something more amazing than any of countless other homilies. Why is THIS the one that would amaze someone at an inability to believe?

I think it shows Christ working in his Shepard, you could see him working in the people as well. I think something like this is more convincing than any argument.
