I just heard Father Corapi say if you are heard saying that Abortion is MURDER…you can be sent to jail. To say, “ABORTION IS MURDER” is a criminal act, a HATE CRIME in Canada.

Oh yes, Father Corapi said it so, I believe it…

Oh, abortion is not a crime, but to say it is …is a HATE CRIME.
 
So in other words to tell the truth is hate crime!Is it not a hate crime to legally murder someone who cannot fight back?Is it no a hate crime to target certain members of the population for extermination?BAH!!!:mad:
 
And so many Canadians have this idea that they’re so much more civilized than us Americans… :hmmm:

Who will I believe? Father Corapi or Franky?

Father John Corapi said this tonight, he has my confidence.
 
I’d like to see the actual law. I think Corapi may have had in mind hate speech legislation that is loose enough that anti-abortion talk could be prosecuted. I don’t think Corapi is saying there is an actual law that specifically reads that it is a crime to say abortion is murder.

I live in America, and yet there are many American laws I am unaware of. Perhaps Corapi is referring to Bill C-250 which The Catholic Legate discusses. I don’t know if this bill passed or not, perhaps you could enlighten us.

I recall reading a news story where a preacher in Canada was prosecuted for “hate speech” because he gave a sermon about abortion being murder and a grave sin. He quoted bible passages that supported this. Someone in the congregation tipped off the authorities and he was charged. I can’t recall exactly where I read and heard this, but it was pretty big news in pro-life circles at the time.
 
I believe bill c-250 protects sexual orientation under hate crime legislation. It does not mention anything about abortion. I am VERY pro-life and follow any news about abortion and have not read anything about saying abortion is murder being a hate crime.
