*Praying for the healing of Kelly’s brother-in-law Joe, for the doctors & other medical professionals who are entrusted with Joe’s care, and for all of Joe’s family members & friends. **This is from a *Saint Peregrine Holy Card given to my husband when he was first diagnosed (Stage IV, head & neck cancer), just before Christmas, 2003~
O God,
in Saint Peregrine You gave us an outstanding example of faith and patience,
we humbly ask You that by imitating him and by the help of his prayers,
we believe more fully in Your healing help,
bear the suffering of this life without wavering,
and come with joy to the peace of Heaven.
We ask this through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
