Prayer to St. Zoe of Rome

St. Zoe, you were an early martyr of the Church. Because of your witness to Christ and the bravery of your faith, our Church was able to inspire others to follow Christ and spread and grow. Many witness the miracle of regaining your speech because of St. Sebastian making the sign of the cross over you. Like Zechariah, the first words you spoke were in praise and thanks to God.

St. Zoe, please pray for our society today. We are in desperate need of a sense of gratitude and praise to our Creator. Many of the faithful no longer believe in miracles. May we regain a sense of wonder and awe in the beauty of God shown in the world around us. I also ask you to pray for all of those who have posted intentions here today, for those who I am obligated to pray for, and for my family. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (ESMDHokie77). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into ESMDHokie77’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for ESMDHokie77, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. I have surgery in 6 hrs and the scan showed a node near the kidneys. On the way to recovery.
