Candle meditation

Does anyone know anything about candle meditation?Does anyone do this while praying? I’m curious because I saw a scene in a movie where the king of Spain was doing this and he was a Catholic. Idk if it was just for the film or if it’s done in the Catholic faith, if so I’ve never heard of it being done.
 
What is candle meditation? Like prayer with a candle? That’s common.
 
It looks like people saying prayers and staring into the flame of a candle at the same time.
 
Yes, it is a means to focus.
A priest once gave me the tip and sometimes I just watched the flame so as to reduce distractions as I started Adoration. Like a means to slow down.
Nothing beyond that , that I know of…

I do not know. The candle is just a means . No particular name for that.
