I had been watching a series of videos about the works of Louis Marie de Montfort on a site that included the reading for each video. I was specifically studying The Secret of the Rosary. The videos were from Peace of Heart Forum episodes from what looked like the late 1980s or early 1990s and featured Fr. Gillespie. I have since had a cell phone disaster and can’t find the site again. I have found videos from the series about other works by de Montfort on Fr. Gillespie’s YouTube channel and on the Apostolate for Family Consecration website and YouTube channel, but haven’t found the ones I was watching. Is anyone familiar with the site I’ve lost or have any idea where I can find these videos? Thanks so much!

No, this is a much newer one. The one I was watching was a conversation with another priest and a host sitting in a “living room” set. Thanks.

I’ll probably need to do that. Thanks.

He’ll probably be happy you were finding his work useful.
I found some videos like what you describe, with him in them, but they were in Spanish. Could not find the English versions.

Try: http://queenofallhearts.com/2020/07/05/secret-of-the-holy-rosary-video/

The Association of Mary, Queen of All Hearts has many videos - not sure if this is the one you are looking for but … I hope you will read St. Louis de Montfort’s books. “The Secret of the Holy Rosary” is only one, of his books, but his greatest perhaps is the classic: "True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin"

I’ve read all his books and I continue to go back to his book on True Devotion . Next to Scripture , it is for me the “Gold Standard” in going to Jesus through Mary. 🙂

PS – Welcome to Catholic Answers Forum!

This is what I was looking for. Thank you! I’m in the process of reading all the works of St. Louis de Montfort. I’m a member of the Legion if Mary, and we frequently study his writings as a group as well.

Thanks again for your help!

Dear mewilson68,

Always glad to help when ever I can by God’s Grace. I joined the Junior Legion of Mary as a teenager, and will be eternally grateful to the Dominican Sister who introduced us to St. Louis de Montfort’s “True Devotion” and invited us to Consecrate ourselves totally to Jesus through Mary. Sister was our Spiritual Directress in the Junior Legion of Mary.

As an adult I’ve served in Mary’s Legion many years now. In one parish where I lived and worked as a teacher, the Principal allowed us to form a Junior Legion with a group of 6th grade boys and girls, who met during their lunch hour. They were wonderful.

Having moved many times since, I’ve not had that opportunity again, but I continue to encourage others to join our Adult Legion of Mary Praesidium in our present parish. We did read True Devotion together as a group and several of us prayed our Act of total Consecration (or renewed it) after completing the book.

If you visited the Queen of all Hearts website you probably saw information on enrolling oneself in the “Confraternity” St. Louis had hoped would one day be formed! 🙂

Mary truly is the Queen of All the hearts of God’s Faithful! Please let us pray for one another, for the Church and for all those in most need of God’s Mercy!

That’s odd, that’s the same video I linked, only via YouTube. In any case, glad you found what you were looking for. I’ve never heard of Fr. Gillespie, do you know his background? He seems like a good teacher.

Yes, looking more closely, they aren’t what I remembered. The Consecration to Mary videos on the same site are the right era, though. It could be that I am not remembering correctly, since my studies were thrown for a loop by this pandemic.
