What a shame this is! Politics triumph over truth. The youths that were threatened with arrest were members of the American Life League’s Crusade to Defend the Catholic Church. And these people get threatened with arrest? This is hypocrisy. Reason? Quite simple actually. It was because it stated that “You cannot be Catholic and pro-abortion.” The LAPD did defend their freedom of speech and finally the young people were permitted to enter the Cathedral. Why in the world is this Cardinal honoring a mayor who’s pro-abortion and is at the same time being nasty to pro-life catholics. He was praised by the ADL for condemning anti-semitism. But the ADL said nothing about this. Hmmmmm. Makes you wonder doesn’t it. What the cardinal did was an act of cowardice. The moment the Church turns it’s back on the pro-life movement is the day the pro-life cause is lost.
