Cardinal Pell appeals to High Court

Cardinal Pell has been in the news again recently as he wants to make an appeal to the High Court. I wonder who is paying for his legal team? It would be a large amount to pay to barristers and solicitors. Is the church paying for this and if so who has authorised this payment? I don’t agree with the church paying for the appeal at all.

@ServingAll I am hoping you will give a donation and help pay for it. He is innocent and you might be very blessed in sharing your gift of concern by giving a donation to his cause. God bless your deep concern for our Cardinal. If you don’t have the money just pray for him and don’t worry about money–you know what Jesus says about money, right?

I’m hoping all goes well. I’m sure Cardinal Pell is well aware of what a scapegoat is in the Old Testament, the fact he’s become one probably doesn’t surprise him.
