Hi everyone. Im currently working on a vocation promotion video. I don’t want to make the usual videos. Can anyone help me with the content like, what kind of information will young people now be looking for when discerning a religious vocation? Thanks a lot and God reward you!

They will want to see where they will be worshipping – chapel, side oratories, etc. Since Carmelites spend a lot of time in their cells, they should be shown there, too.

St Teresa of Avila also made mention of the Lord walking amongst the pots and pans, helping both within and without.

Do the Carmels not have old booklets that have pix of all of the above?

Blessings,

They do have a lot of old resources. I’m thinking more of the text content.
What I would like to do is be able to “translate” this old stuffs into something that the new generation will find more meaningful, expressing the same truths but in a language that means something to them…
Thanks.

View modern videos from other communities, both active and contemplative, and especially those receiving vocations.

St. Therese said “My vocation is love” in the heart of the church. How can this be shown?
