Your parish is very different from mine. We are a country parish in the deep south.
I know of a parish in FL where they wear multiple different kinds of C&Ss
  1. Black cassock for the altar servers
  2. Red cassock for 2 lay adult altar servers who serve as MCs & direct the servers
  3. Blue cassock for lay cantor(s)
  4. Green cassocks for lay choir members in choir loft (or maybe it was the choir director- I can’t clearly remember)
  5. Albs with simple pectoral Crosses for EMHCs
The pastor is a baptist convert with a deep Southern accent - and this parish even has (very high, out of direct sight of the sanctuary) two protection screens which they use to project hymn lyrics.

Needless to say, their masses are quite a “production.” Granted, it can be argued that they are clericalizing the lay ministers.

It’s certainly better than the Bermuda shorts and Hawaiian shirts they could be wearing. I kinda like that
