I read in Edward Sri’s excellent book “The Bible Compass” yesterday, that “The back of the Catechism provides an index of all the scripture verses it references.” making it easier to find out what the Catechism says about a particular verse.

The problem is, I haven’t been able to find a copy that has this. So far, I’ve found versions with general subject indexes, but nothing with verse indexes.

Can anyone recommend a (preferably print) version that has this?

In my copy of the Catechism it has numbers next to each of the items telling where it comes from. For instance, let’s say I wanted to study sin in the Catechism.

If I go online to the Catechism and find say, section 1473 (CCC 1473) I find this:
1473 The forgiveness of sin and restoration of communion with God entail the remission of the eternal punishment of sin, but temporal punishment of sin remains. While patiently bearing sufferings and trials of all kinds and, when the day comes, serenely facing death, the Christian must strive to accept this temporal punishment of sin as a grace. He should strive by works of mercy and charity, as well as by prayer and the various practices of penance, to put off completely the “old man” and to put on the "new man."85
You see that number there at the end? 85? That’s the reference, if I scroll to the bottom (of if I’m using the book I simply look at the bottom of the page and I find)

85 Eph 4:22, 24.

That’s where you find them. Both copies of the Catechism I have have those footnotes with the bible references in them.

Hi,
My CCC has what you are referring to.
Catechism of the Catholic Church Second Edition. I purchased this in 2002

the larger print version with the green cover has the index both of scripture references listed by book, and of references to church documents. In addition there is a companion volume which gives the complete citations and quotes of those documents. If you have the smaller white paperback CCC it still has the footnotes but not the citation index.

I don’t know about any print versions, I don’t think that would be nearly as useful.but here’s a CCC-scripture cross reference: catholiccrossreference.com/bible/catechism.cgi

Thanks, that’s exactly what I was looking for. I’ll keep that in mind when I make the trip over to my local Barnes & Noble in the next couple of days.
