The Baltimore Catechism as an invaluable teaching tool still prepares children and catechumens to receive the Sacraments and lead authentic Catholic lives.
It is uncomplicated and friendly guide to real Catholicism and has its name from the Third Plenary Council of Baltimore

yes but the CCC give more complete explanations of the issues answered in Q&A form in the old catechism (and in the compendium) and also gives scriptural and church document references.
