Catholic Alternative Rock?

All though I love alternative rock that they show on mtv and stuff like that, i was wondering, does anyone know of any Alternative catholic rock, or any kool upbeat catholic music, and please, give me something a 15 year-old would listen to.

I’m wondering the same thing, only hard rock. So far I’ve only found a couple and can’t remember the names. I think one is theocracy, but i could be wrong. try checking them out.

Although I am about 100 years old, I know of one place you can start to investigate this.

they have some catholic hip hop & rock there that is pretty cool. Check out the ‘radio’ on their site. I think they have forums like this one, but a younger group reads it.

While I don’t think they are Catholic, the Christian band Switchfoot is good- and I think alternative (sorry I’m “older” too). Meant to Live is an awesome song. They also have crossed over into the secular market which is neat.

Seven Sorrows are a great Catholic alternative rock band. They haven’t released a CD, but they offer free downloads of their songs on their website: sevensorrows.com/index2.html

In addition to the regular versions of their songs, they have some unplugged versions, and all of the lyrics are available there, too.

I hope that these guys release a CD one day soon.
