Is there any organizations, or magazines on archaeology from a Catholic perspective? :hammering:

There’s also a magazine called “Biblical Archaeology Review.” I get it, and while it is not a “Catholic” publication, it seems quite scholarly and I have never seen any bias or “slant” in it’s articles. Much of its reporting is on material from Old Testament times.

Most archaeology publications on Christianity seem fairly unbiased unless you look at stuff from some very anti-Catholic wings of Protestantism. There is no real “Catholic” archaeology publication out there that I know of.

Blessings!

If you go to iTunes and look up “The Catholic Laboratory” podcasts (devoted to the Catholic Church and its contributions to science), there was a 3-part series on Catholic contributions to archaeology and an ongoing multi-part series on Biblical archaeology from a Catholic perspective. You can also download the podcasts from the website here: catholiclab.net/TheCatholicLaboratory/Podcast/Podcast.html
