As you may know I am transitioning from protestantism. I´ve found a catholic church that I adore, and come to love small but its the only one in my small swedish city. When I became baptised by a protestant female pastor there werent much to do . Read a few couple verses of the bible, saw her twice and then was baptised. But being new to Catholism I wonder if they may reject me say “oh you need to attend more masses” I attend every mass may I add. What should I do prior,? And I really do need to take part of the communion. As I have been rejected by the preist as I am not a Catholic yet.

God Bless

Speak to a Catholic priest about the procedure to convert. If you were validly baptized in a Protestant church, you will not be re-baptized, but need the Sacrament of Confirmation.

I´ve tired calling the priest several times no answer to book a baptism. I´ll try talking to him after mass today.

Don’t get discouraged be patient ,even if it’s takes time ,i thing you read to be baptized ,the other one may not be valid first speak to the Catholic Priest of your city on the procedure to convert to Catholicism. Welcome Home. God Bless

There is quite a bit more to it than booking a baptism. Call to speak with your priest about converting the Catholic Church. He will guide you with what you need to do from here.

FWIW- There isn’t a minimum number of Masses you have to attend. 😀
