Catholic Bishops Corrects False Novena Email on FOCA

Washington, DC – If you’re a pro-life Catholic, chances are you’ve seen the email that has been widely circulated across the Internet seeking prayers to stop the radical FOCA bill. While the email is accurate concerning how the Freedom of Choice Act will make abortion on demand the national law, there is one big error.

The bill will allow unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy for any reason and overturn every pro-life law in all 50 states if it becomes law.

Even though only a massive miracle will prevent such laws from coming into being as the humanist influence is so strong in our societies, we’ll continue to pray, in whatever way we can. But I don’t see why God stands it all as each child is His loved creation. The ongoing murder of innocents.

The Civil Rights Movement worked because large numbers of people stood up and refused to be moved. Can’t we do the same? They want to pass FOCA, they get to contend with massive demonstrations, sit-ins, teach-ins, and strikes. If we all pulled together, we could do it through God’s grace.
