Friends,

I am seeking some references to Catholic blogs that you all my enjoy. My only concern is that they be orthodox. My preference is that the blogs also be lay driven, but I am most certainly not opposed to those blogs authored by clerics.

In Christ,

Francis

What Does The Prayer Really Say, by Fr. John Zuhlsdorf is good
The Liturgy Guy is good.
New Liturgical Movement and the Liturgical Arts Journal are both good.

Not that there aren’t some good Catholic bloggers out there, but just pointing out the obvious point that no Catholic blogger is going to be right 100% of the time. Even of the bloggers I read and enjoy, I can’t say that I can name any that I agree with 100% of the time. None of them are a replacement for the magisterium.

Thank you all!

Has anyone visited the website Catholicism.org? I just came across it recently and although it appears to be legitimate I thought it best to ask you all.

Catholicism.org is run by the New Hampshire chapter of Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which to my knowledge is still in schism. I believe there is a second group with the same name in Massachusetts who are no longer in schism and have a bunch of disclaimers on their website that they aren’t associated with the New Hampshire group or Catholicism.org .

Another blog I would suggest is OnePeterFive.
