I am a new Catholic and I have been looking for ways to document my journey into the Church. I think bullet journaling can be a fun, creative way to tell my story and reflect on our beautiful faith. Any suggestions on spreads I should include?

Off the top of my head…

Prayers, prayer intentions, quotes (from saints, from things you’ve read, from scripture). Dates of feast days of favorite saints as well as other holy days and observances. (I always have to check on things like when is Ash Wednesday or when does Advent start.) Ideas for celebrating different saints days including decorations, recipes, etc.

And I’m looking forward to seeing what others suggest.

I’m so happy you started this thread! I’ve been reading the BuJo book and trying to get that system into my daily routine because I see great value in it. I’ll look forward to others’ suggestions.

I’m a Bullet Journaler, but I have never thought of creating a spread for religion related things. I’ll have to give this a bit of thought. 🤔

How long you been in church ? Me, since April last year 🙂 how are you finding it ?

I started keeping a small notebook and would write things that really jumped out to me - from reading, watching EWTN, listening to Catholic Radio, any thoughts that suddenly made sense. It’s interesting to go back and re-read what I wrote and see how the Catholic faith has really unfolded for me over the past three years.

Consider a gratitude list. Also what I think of as “God moments” – those times when you’re filled with awe, when something beautiful takes your breath away, when you’re moved to tears by joy or wonder.

Ok. I’ve thought about it a bit, and done some Pinterest searching. I’m a minimalist, and not particularly artistic. My BuJo is purely functional. Here are some things I might add, feast days marked on the calendar, a saint quote page, a spread for planning out how I will celebrate the liturical year (one month at a time), a list of scriptures I regularly refer to, a list of scriptures for lectio divina, a spread to recording summaries of my lectio sessions, a physical list of religious books to read and books I’m reading (currently digital), and a rosary/prayer intentions tracker.
