I keep receiving the following prayer from good-hearted people, thoug often with a new-age promise about making a wish before forwarding it to friends. Who knows enough about St. Theresa (Teresa?) to show this is bogus? Just that it can be found on so many new age sites indicts it. Does anyone know the true source? A high school religion teacher just sent it to me, and I’d like to verify its inaccuracy.
Thanks!

St. Theresa’s Prayer:
May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly
where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that
has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom
to
sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of you.

No, you aren’t. :o 😃

When I get those e-mails, I’ll keep the prayers, but ignore the superstitious promises, and “chain” aspect of them.
