Catholic Clubs/Programs for School-Aged Kids

I have a 6 year old daughter and I’m interested in starting a program at our parish or possibly to meet at my home that will serve to teach kids more about their Catholic faith (this would be in addition to the great Faith Formation program my parish has in place already). I want to do it for my daughter’s sake, to help her grow in and be more excited about her Catholic faith, but also to help the families of kids these ages to connect on a more personal level.

I’m looking for a curriculum or outline that is already prepared, so I could just order the materials and be ready to go. Preferably the club would meet once or twice a month and would be open to boys and girls in grade levels K-5 or so.

Does anyone know of any programs like this? The only one I have found so far is Kids4Jesus. K4J looks like it might meet our needs, but I want to look into any others that may be out there before I go with it. Also, if you have any experience with the K4J program I would be interested in hearing about it.

There is the Little Flowers Club for girls. There is a boys program that is similar called the Blue Knights. You could probably combine them.

You may want to check out Pilgrims of the Holy Family. It’s a 4-H/Scout type alternative for boys and girls. It’s a program meant for families, but I’ve heard of people using it as the base for the type of club/activity you are looking to do.
