Hi everyone,

I am fairly new to the church. I became Catholic last year. I absolutely love it. I am looking to make a connection with someone who can teach me the ways of being the best Catholic I can possibly be. My husband is also Catholic but he is a cradle Catholic so he doesn’t love it like I do. I would love to get to know other Catholics and learn how you incorporate our faith into your daily lives.

I think that if you read here for a while and join in the discussions, serious or silly ones, you will meet and get to know lots of Catholics. We all seem to make friends with people here. You will also learn a lot by reading. So you are off to a good start. Know that there is a search feature and you can always look up a question or a topic that’s already been discussed.

Being Catholic from birth doesn’t mean that someone is less devout. I wouldn’t be so quick to judge your husbands Piety.

I am looking to make a connection with someone who can teach me the ways of being the best Catholic I can possibly be.

You should have people from RCIA in your Parish that can help you. Your Parish Priest is also someone that you should be talking to.

Be cautious on CAF. It’s a mixed bag of advice.

My advice is: PRAY, PRAY, AND PRAY SOME MORE. I loves me some Bible, too.
