Well those 7 question exists for a reason. Not everyone agrees 100% with the church but still consider themselves Catholic. If your reasoning was correct,Catholicmatch.com would have weeded out plenty of people by now.
People can call themselves Catholic all day long… doesn’t mean they are.

I can’t emphasize enough that looking outside of your immediate area is vital on Catholic dating sites. I think there were three guys in my area on AMS, and I wasn’t at all interested in any of them. My boyfriend–who I met on AMS–lives almost five hours from me. It’s hard (and as we get fonder of one another, the distance gets tougher), but thus far, we’ve made it work. I doubt I’d ever have met him in “real life,” and I’m grateful daily for AMS.

Broaden your search to include all geographic areas, adjust it by age and appropriate answers to some questions, and maybe throw in a keyword or two. See what happens. If she’s Miss Right, you’ll be willing to fly across the country to meet her, and vice versa.

God bless you in your search!
This isn’t working for me, and I think I speak for many AMS members. The women that I have met on AMS (yes, I am male) demand face-to-face contact, and rightly so. The problem is that if you’re already established and working–as you must be to discern marriage–you can’t exactly take a day off every week to take a 300-mile drive to spend one afternoon with your date. And you won’t know if she’s Ms. Right/she won’t know if you’re Mr. Right based on one visit, or even one visit a month. A serious relationship needs a lot more face time than that.

Apparently it DID work for you, and so I would really, really like to hear how you and your boyfriend got over the distance issue.

I’ve so far had two responses! … one local and one lass that is as Cat Herder described… very very far away.

Still praying. 🙂
