Does anyone know of any Catholic devotionals like the Protestant Our Daily Bread ones that you can get mailed to you?

…a quick search on the internet comes up with these:

Living Faith - Creative Communications for the Parish
livingfaith.com/index.php

The Word Among Us (also offers free meditations online)
wau.org/

A Voice in the Desert (online homilies of Fr. Robert Altier)
desertvoice.org/Written.html

Magnificat (they offer a free copy to see if you like it)
magnificat.net/us/indexus.htm

Regnum Christi will e-mail daily devotions to you (receive them daily or a week’s worth at a time)
regnumchristi.org/english/listas/index.phtml

…something to get you started! 🙂

I subscribe to Magnificat and the WORD among us. Both are very good.

Magnificat is a daily devotional, with the scripture readings for the day, liturgy of the hours, and a short synopsis of the readings for the day, and Saint for the day. It also has a Sunday Missal to follow Mass if you are new to the faith. I like to take it to Mass on Sunday. Magnificat also has a children’s version. My kids really enjoy it. It has puzzles, word find etc. based on that weeks readings!

The WORD Among US is a daily devotional and only lists the readings for the day. The daily meditation is easy to read and understand. I like this one too because it’s easy for my kids to understand, especially when scripture is confusing to them. The WORD Among Us also has a variety of articles and true life stories pertaining to our faith.

Here are the websites:

I get Magnificat and Living Faith - both are excellent! If I could only get 1, it would be the Magnificat though, as I can use it at Mass.

I also subscribe online to Daily Reflections, which is free. It is also very good!
