Hi there!
I am a Catholic, and I attend mass every week and I have a personal relationship with Christ. I have to admit that it wasn’t until just a few years ago that I actually pursued a relationship with the Living God, and it happened through watching several ministers on TV, none of which were Catholic unfortunately.
My question is this: Why don’t Catholics evangelize more often? I have not encountered one Catholic that has tried to reach me through preaching the word of God and the message of salvation through His grace. It’s an awesome message and truth!! It’s even better than the cure for cancer!! But why don’t most Catholics seem to reflect this truth? Many people in my congregation don’t look happy to be at church, they sweep their faith under the rug, especially when others are around. God wants ALL of His children to be saved and redeemed; why then do Catholics hesitate to share the message of salvation? Most Catholics that I know go to church because it’s their routine, but they don’t really know God intimately or personally, so perhaps that’s why in some cases, but generally I have noticed this in Catholics. Does anybody have any ideas?
Praise God!!
