Catholic Film Schools

I am interested in film making. I looked at New York Academy of Film Making and it looked alright.

I am just wondering if there are any Catholic orientated film schools.

Please take a look at Barbara Nicolosi’s blog, Church of the Masses. She is a scriptwriter in Hollywood who has been very outspoken about integrating faith with commercially viable filmmaking. Her blog makes very good reading, particularly for someone interested in the film business.

She is one of the founders of Act One, “a nonprofit organization founded to train people of faith for careers in mainstream film and television.” I think they focus on screenwriting, but even if your interest is something else like directing or cinematography, they should be able to give you some good advice.
