I was wondering if anyone here has an interest in video games on console or PC? If so, what genre of games do you like?

This is the right thread for you:

Who here likes video games? Anyone? Popular Media
Yeah, near the end the game starts going down the standard “struggle against god” route. At the same time, the closest one to the “God” character is actually friendly, but then again, they are man-made. Basically, it’s a rather atheistic, Nietzsche-esque story. That should have been expected, though. The main writer is a huge Nietzsche fan. As far as I know, the guy was on the second game’s story, and so far it has been pretty blatant in some religious references. You have the “Divine Architec…

I’ll play Paladins with you. It’s online and free. PM me if you want to set up a time. Usually I go on PC.

I play Smash Bros on the Wii U, but I’m terrible at it.

Yes, this is the lengthy Video Game thread that has managed to stay active enough to continue on. I think it’s the longest running active thread that I’m subscribed to. 😁

I play a lot of sports games. I love NCAA Football and I wish they’d bring it back 😦
I also like turn based strategy. Advance wars for the Nintendo GBA/DS too.

I’ve heard of Crusader Kings, and someone else told me I would like it. Is it like the original warcraft games? I’m old, I remember those games from the 90’s because I played them so much! lol

It’s grand strategy, you can play as one of a number of historic medieval kingdoms like West Francia, Asturias or you can play as an Empire like the Byzantines. Basically you have to rule over your subjects and you have to manage interpersonal relations in your royal court as well as expand your kingdom by conquering land from duchies and other kingdoms. It’s pretty fun. If you want to get the hang of playing it I would recommend you play in Ireland, it’s basically noob island and it’s pretty hard to actually mess up

Big tip though; marry your daughters and sons up. They’re children will be likely to inherit titles like king or duke

i will check it out right now i’m playing Knights of Pen and Paper on my iPhone. I get so hooked on these games sometimes.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure you can get it on steam for dirt cheap. It’s an older game at this point (circa 2012?)

It’s still incredibly fun to play

We have a very, very long thread about this already 😛

I’m a big gamer. I play RPGs, FPSs, Adventure games, umm… tons of others as well.

Right now I’m playing Witcher III, Sims 4, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Minecraft (I’m always playing Minecraft), and Rise of the Tomb Raider… along with Elder Scrolls Legends and a few other smaller games.

My wife and I also play board games together.

I couldn’t really get into Sims 4, I liked 3 better honestly.

I play RIFT online. I like it a lot.
I’ve played a lot of single-player games and still have some on my computer.

I like how compact 4 is. The transition to having the whole town to explore in 3 seemed unneeded and cumbersome to me. I played a bunch of it, but I’m liking 4 better so far. It’s kind of a “when I’m in the mood game,” not one of my main staples.

I don’t play as much as I used to, and mainly only focus on single player, story driven games. I’m currently working on Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Red Dead Redemption II and Spider-Man. I’ve recently finished Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Not a video game but I do play a baseball simulation computer game. There is a board game version though that I play more often.

I also play historical military computer games that also contain ‘what if’ scenarios.
