Catholic geocentrism

Hello:

While doing some research (for my little blog) on Biblical literalism and creationism, I came upon a couple of sources that said that Catholic apologist Robert Sungenis was a geocentrist (that the universe moved around a fixed earth). Here is one source.

Unfortunately the link to his site is dead, so I can not confirm.

So asking…is this true? I thought only us fundamentalist types had a corner on this type of wackiness. But apparantly not.

Yes that is true. If you want to read his stuff, his website is catholicintl.com/.

By the way, he is a fundamentalist type, just of the Catholic flavor.

Thank you. I was able to get on his web site and verified that yes Virginia, he is a geocentrist.

However, he is not a flat-earther, which is disappointing. If I start with Biblical literalism and apply it consistently to science, I must conclude that the earth is flat. However, it seems as that everyone has compromised the truth of the Bible to Godless science…the only issue being by just how much.

Anyway, it takes all types. Thanks.
